Modeling Glass

Modeling Glass is a versatile, two-part kit that includes a powdered binder and a liquid medium, both food-grade and non-toxic. When mixed with water and powdered glass or frit, it forms a clay-like material that’s smooth and easy to handle. You can shape it by rolling into coils, pressing into molds, or cutting out flat shapes without it sticking to your hands or tools. The material can also be sanded or carved before firing, reducing the need for cold working post-firing. During firing, the binder and liquid medium burn away, leaving vibrant, true-to-color glass. Compatible with both COE90 and COE96 glass, the kit contains a 2 oz bottle of liquid medium and a 3.5 oz jar of powdered binder, offering ample material for a wide range of creative projects.
