Introducing the Olympic Kiln 189 Slider, a compact yet powerful square clamshell designed kiln engineered to simplify your glass firing endeavors. With inside dimensions measuring 18″ x 18″ wide x 9″ deep, this kiln features a sliding floor for effortless loading and glass manipulation.

Bolted to an 18″ heavy angle iron stand, the 189 Slider arrives fully assembled, ready for immediate use. The sleek wooden handle ensures comfortable handling as you extend the kiln floor to a fully extended 44″ front-to-back. Additionally, the lid brace arm, integrated into the side of the kiln, securely locks in place when the firing chamber is opened.

Equipped with an element in the lid for radiant heat and elements in the kiln walls for conductive heat, our kilns ensure uniform heating for your glass pieces. With a maximum temperature range of 1700°F, our models safeguard the optional quartz glass viewing window, although they can be reprogrammed to fire at higher temperatures as required.

The 189 Slider comes standard with essential features including a pilot light, a tall 18” heavy-angle iron stand, a stainless steel jacket, and the Bartlett 3 Key electronic controller. Data entry for ramp/hold programming is conveniently achieved by scrolling through the up and down arrows. Additionally, a two-year Kiln Limited Warranty provides added assurance.
