Introducing the Olympic Kiln 514 Slider, a versatile square clamshell designed kiln crafted to streamline your glass firing processes. With inside dimensions measuring 29″ x 29″ wide x 13.5″ deep, this kiln features a sliding floor for effortless loading and glass manipulation.

Bolted to an 18″ heavy angle iron stand, the 514 Slider comes fully assembled for your convenience. The gas strut opens the firing chamber with ease, while the sleek wooden handle ensures cool handling as you extend the kiln floor to a fully extended 65″ front-to-back.

Equipped with an element in the lid for radiant heat and elements in the kiln walls for conductive heat, our kilns ensure even heating for your glass pieces. With a maximum temperature range of 1700°F, our models protect the optional quartz glass viewing window, although they can be reprogrammed to fire at higher temperatures as needed.

The 514 Slider comes standard with essential features including a pilot light, a tall 18” heavy-angle iron stand, a stainless steel jacket, and the Bartlett 3 Key electronic controller. Peephole plugs and instruction manuals are included in the kiln package, backed by a two-year Kiln Limited Warranty for added peace of mind.

Customization options abound, with upgrades available to the KilnStar digital controller or the GENESIS controller featuring touchscreen technology. Additional options include lid lift assist for models 18” wide or smaller, Type S thermocouple, flash arm, quartz glass viewing windows, lid elements in quartz rods, venting, and more, tailored to your specific requirements.
